DYANNA TROPHY

The Dyanna Trophy concept is designed to glorify and celebrate the victories from gameplay. It is a piece that is intended to be collected by fans and used for display. The details in the design were specifically created to represent Dyanna.

The trophy sits on  a circular platform, surrounded by sheet metal. On top, the scene depicts  a battle, or rather, the aftermath. On this battlefield, 3 casualties, portrayed as skulls, rest with holes in them. Since Dyanna is oftentimes solo, her encounters frequently consist of multiple challengers. In front of these skulls are 5 casings littered on the ground. Resting on a wooden rack is the weapon that was used - the AK. Another symbolic trait is found hanging on the right - a bat smirking with content. These aesthetics represent how we see Dyanna. The colour of her name at the very front, the little bat just above the name, the bigger bat hanging on the wood rack, and even the shape of the sheet metal (curved to look like Dracula’s collars when viewing from the front). All these visuals represent Dyanna.

DESIGN

I sketched this design almost a year ago when I was looking for inspiration to branch into Twitch. Over these past few months, during my free time, I turned the sketch/idea into a 3D model. Recently, I printed out the model and assembled it. The rifle comes off the stand and even has a removable magazine. The magazine is magnetic (inside) which ensures it won’t fall out on its own, and allows the magazine to “click” into place inside the rifle body.

PROCESS

The Dyanna Trophy was 3D printed using 4 different materials and printed on 3 different machines. Then, I carefully remove the supports from the models, sand, and prep them for paint. An authentication card is also included for the buyer with matching numbers to the one found under each model. The trophy is placed in an acrylic display case and then safely packaged and shipped in a cardboard box with its numbered corresponding authentication card.
