Raccoon Figure Design
This sculpture was created for Shibu, to be used in promoting their product. The request was to create a raccoon character that would resemble their logo. The purpose of the character is to be used in promoting their clothing line. The figure would be posed around the city wearing miniature versions of the product and posted to their Instagram account. Three expressions were required, normal, smug, and angry. An added challenge was creating a ball socket that would allow the head to fit an existing body, while also being interchangeable, so each head can be swapped.
These Shibu raccoons were created from scratch using Zbrush. Once completed, the raccoons were printed using an SLA printer. From there they were sanded, painted and assembled.
